Doug Crockford on AJAX Performance

Watched an interesting screencast yesterday on AJAX Performance, by Doug Crockford. This was one of a series of videos that he has produced on the subject and from what I’ve seen so far, I plan on watching the rest of them.

Doug is a fantastic presenter; moving through the subject matter at a good pace – not losing you with senseless jargon or other annoying habits. He stresses the importance of profiling and optimizing your application. He recommends that all JavaScript code be run through some form of validator – in this case JSLint, which just happens to be a web application that he developed.
