Launch of Lorna Schultz Nicholson

This evening I launched a redesign of a Web site for Lorna Schultz Nicholson – a writer, presenter and speaker.
This site marked a complete overhaul of both the design and wireframe as most of the existing content was outdated and in need of a restructuring.
Since the client expressed interest in being able to take of content updates on her own, I ended up building the site using WordPress, and then used the WPML plugin for achieving a CMS-type navigation layout.
The end result is a clean layout with a real focus on what the Web site is truly about – books that the client has authored. Lorna is the author of a number of sports-related books aimed at children in the age range of 9-11; as well as a few that are more suited for young adults. The home page of the site features each of Lorna’s books with a link to their detail’s and ordering information page.
